Lunar Disco Camp is more than a camp it is a living, breathing constellation of artists, dreamers, and seekers who gather each year at Burning Man to weave music, art, and sacred connection into the heart of Black Rock City.
Since 2012, we’ve cultivated a transformative desert sanctuary where radical self-expression meets collective creativity. By day, our camp invites you to explore immersive installations, reflective spaces, and spontaneous moments of wonder. By night, Lunar Disco awakens with rhythm and light, igniting the playa with music, dance, and cosmic celebration under the desert moon.
Our magic also rides across the playa with two iconic mutant vehicles: the vibrant Grasshopper and the ethereal Water Temple. These rolling works of art extend the Lunar Disco experience into the open desert, carrying music, connection, and play wherever they roam.
At our core, we are a community dedicated to honoring the 10 Principles of Burning Man radical inclusion, self-expression, self-reliance, communal effort, civic responsibility, gifting, decommodificatios, participation, immediacy, and leaving no trace. These principles are not just values we respect, but living practices that shape how we gather, create, and celebrate together.
